Celtic supporters slaughter Barry ‘Brown Brogues’ Ferguson

Celtic supporters have been quick to shoot down former Rangers captain and propagandist, Barry Ferguson, for his ludicrous comments in his Daily Record article about Mick Beale and standards at Ibrox. The new manager who stabbed Queens Park Rangers in the back after pledging an oath of loyalty has introduced a new rule about wearing suits on matchdays and the former midfielder had an interesting, if not bizarre take on it.

In his article, Ferguson mentions that he is glad to see the return to players wearing suits on matchdays, which is fair enough. However, he then goes on to make a correlation between wearing brown brogues and winning! He says:

“You might think this is daft, but Beale ordering the theRangers squad to turn up suited and booted for home games from now on, is massive in my eyes. Wearing a suit, collar and tie and, of course, the brown brogues isn’t going to score you a goal when the match starts but this is a statement about standards.” (Daily Record)

Well it has certainly saw a response from those of a Celtic persuasion on social media to his article. Many have ridiculed the ex-Ibrox player for his view on this and have labelled it rightfully, as feel-good nonsense about their rookie coach. The media is rife with it at this current juncture and it won’t stop until Ange has seen him off just like Mr Slippy and Wee Gio.

Take a look at some of the comments…

I'm a Garngad Bhoy through and through. My first ever Celtic game was a friendly against Italian side Parma at Celtic Park, in 2002. Currently a student of English Literature and Education at the University of Strathclyde for my sins. Favourite game would be a toss up between beating Manchester United with that Naka freekick, or the game against the Oldco when Hesselink scored in the dying seconds. I'm still convinced Cal Mac is wasted playing that far back.

  1. Sorry the guy is deluded knows more about nuclear fusion than he does about football ….prick

  2. I’m sure the reply to the last tweet couldn’t be,the financial doping tradition. Brown Brogues can only take you so far. You need a side letter hidden in the false heel to get the jump on the honest clubs.
