Celtic target branded “class” after Man of the Match display

Aberdeen striker has branded Bojan Miovski as being class after he scored two goals in their win against Livingston. Bouncing back from the defeat at Hampden, the Dons came from behind to defeat David Martindale’s team.

Speaking to BBC Scotland after the win against Livingston, Martindale praised Miovski’s qualities.

“The top end of the park was the difference, if I’m being brutally honest.

“We’ve got to get better for the two goals, we give Miovski too much room in the box. But I’ve got to caveat that with he’s one of the best strikers in the league. I think he’s class.”

Celtic are expected to go into the transfer market this January to strengthen his team with quality and Miovski is one name that has been mentioned.

Kyogo hasn’t been at his best this season and there are a number of factors likely behind that – change of shape under Rodgers or, perhaps, lack of quality in the wide options culminating in a lack of confidence and less goals. Similarly, Oh is hit or miss up top. With both likely to be involved in the Asia Cup, Celtic need to get recruits in the door.

Since joining Aberdeen, Miovski has scored 31 goals and assisted on 6 occasions in 69 appearances for the Granite City side. This weekend, he could help fire them to a League Cup trophy against theRangers. The Dons want £5m for the former MTK Budapest forward and it’ll be interesting to see what comes of the interest.
