Celtic’s allocation for this month’s visit to Tynecastle has been confirmed by the Celtic Ticket Office and the Scottish Champions will have the backing of just 1,264 supporters for the crucial match against Hearts on Saturday 22 October. The game kicks off at 12.30 pm and is live on Sky Sports.
This is in line with the trend being set by many, but not all, Scottish Premierhip clubs in restricting the away support. Hearts join the likes of theRangers, Kilmarnock, Dundee United, St Mirren and Aberdeen in following this policy while both Livingston and St Johnstone – both with modest numbers of home supporters – have opted to get as many supporters into their grounds as they can when Celtic come calling. Celtic are at St Johnstone this weekend and our support will occupy the two stands behind the goals.
Tickets are now on sale for the away match v . Hearts to eligible STH

Celtic lost the first game at Tynecastle last season with a 2-1 defeat thanks to a late goal from John Souttar, which happened in the closing stages after a Liel Abada second for Celtic was incorrectly ruled out for offside. The scoreline was reversed in January, when Reo Hatate and Giorgios Giakoumakis struck to land a massive win in the lead up to the Glasgow Derby at Celtic Park, which Celtic won 3-0 on what was an unforgettable night at Paradise.
Tynecastle is historically a tough venue for Celtic to visit and with such a small allocation those 1,264 Celtic supporters will have to sing twice as loud and for the entire 90 minutes plus any added on time to roar the Bhoys onto another three points which will set the team – and the support – up nicely for the next match the following Tuesday (25 October) against Shakhtar Donetsk at Celtic Park in the Champions League.
