Celtic to face Premiership side in Scottish Cup Fourth Round

Celtic have been drawn against Kilmarnock in the Fourth Round of the Scottish Cup. The Scottish Champions will be looking to make it three Scottish Cup successes in a row as they start their defence against the Rugby Park side at Celtic Park.

The ties will take place on the weekend of January 18th 2025.

Derek McInnes’ side put Celtic out of the League Cup last season and have regularly proven themselves to be a difficult opponent. However, Brendan will be targeting a successful, unbeaten run in the Scottish Cup. The former Rangers player might not even make it to the middle of January with rumours suggesting he will replace Philippe Clement if the Ibrox side decide to sack the former Monaco manager.

Celtic won the Scottish Cup thanks to a late strike from Adam Idah against Rangers. The 90th minute strike from the Irishman came thanks to excellent work by Paulo Bernardo, who fired a shot at Jack Butland’s goal, the goalkeeper failed to catch the ball which allowed Idah to net from close range.
