Celtic will receive a large allocation from Livingston FC ahead of next weekend’s game at the Tony Macaroni Stadium. Ange Postecoglou is yet to see the Celtic away support in full tilt and appreciate the added boost that it gives him and his players ahead of a long season. Now, The Scottish Sun are reporting that Celtic will receive 7,400 briefs for the game.
This means that Celtic will occupy three of the four stands at the ground, something they have done since Livi were promoted in 2018. The home side had confirmed that they would welcome back a full capacity crowd and this will mean away fans, much to the delight of Celtic supporters up and down the country.
Celtic still haven’t had away fans at games so far this season but it appears that all things being well, this trip will be the first. This would bookend the pandemic as the last away fixture was at the Tony Macaroni Stadium back in March 2020.
That game finished 2-2 with Callum McGregor and Tom Rogic scoring for the Celts; however, Ange Postecoglou will be looking to end the hoodoo about the plastic pitch in West Lothian with a comprehensive win.
