Celtic to wear away kit at Paradise to support brilliant campaign

Celtic look set to wear their away kit at Paradise as part of a brilliant initiative to raise awareness for housing charity Shelter’s No Home Kit campaign.

The Scottish Champions will join the campaign this December as club’s swap their home shirts for their away kit in order to raise awareness for homelessness in the UK. In the space of 90 minutes, five households in Scotland become homeless in Scotland.

SPFL Chief Executive Neil Doncaster spoke about supporting the initiative, especially at a time of year that can be so difficult for so many.

“We are delighted to support Shelter’s #NoHomeKit this season and are committed to helping this worsening problem in Scotland.

“The details of the growing housing crisis in this country are staggering and we are proud that we are able to help in some way.

“I can’t wait to see our clubs leave their home shirts at home for this historic round of fixtures.”

Celtic will play St Johnstone on Christmas Eve and they will have to play in their change kit as part of this excellent campaign to raise awareness and money for the charity. It is likely that Celtic will wear the Black and Green of the away shirt but there have been rumours that Celtic will release a fourth kit – which would be the perfect opportunity to use the kit for this while raising money for the charity.
