Celtic v Everton: team news, KO time and where to watch

Celtic face Everton in the second game of the Sydney Super Cup at the Accor Stadium. After a surprise 2-1 defeat to Sydney FC on Thursday, Ange Postecoglou takes his side to face the Merseyside club. Frank Lampard will be looking for a result as he looks to inspire a turnaround in Everton’s fortunes with a positive tour of Australia.

Team News

Celtic go into the game without Cameron Carter-Vickers, Aaron Mooy, Josip Juranovic and Daizen Maeda – all of whom are currently in Qatar for the World Cup. Callum McGregor trained and we will likely see him make a return at some stage during the trip Down Under.
Joe Hart, Giorgos Giakoumakis and Moritz Jenz missed the first game but are expected to come back into the fold for this game. However, Stephen Welsh is a fresh doubt after picking up a sore one the other day.
Much like the other night, Ange will look to spread minutes on the pitch amongst his squad whilst he will be looking for an improvement on the performance from the other night.

Kick Off Time

The game kicks off at 3:45am (Celtic Park time)

Where to Watch

For those that will brave the early start – or late night – Celtic TV will be key to watching the game with the club’s broadcaster the only place to watch in the UK.
