Celtic v Hearts: team news, kick-off time and where to watch

Celtic play Hearts this lunchtime with the league title tantalisingly close to being secured. Three points would all but seal the return of the Premiership trophy to Paradise after a brief hiatus across the city.

A draw against Rangers last weekend helped ensure that it would be extremely unlikely that the Ibrox side could mount a late challenge for the league; however, it also meant that Celtic couldn’t mathematically win it this afternoon. As it stands, Celtic are six points clear with a plus 19 goal difference.

Team News

Celtic are expected to have a full compliment of players at their disposal from the squad that played last weekend. Josip Juranovic appears to be out. The question that the manager needs to address is who he plays in the central midfield positions with Callum McGregor. The next headache will arise from who to start in the attacking roles.

Predicted XI: Hart; Ralston, Carter-Vickers, Starfelt, Taylor; McGregor, Rogic, O’Riley, Maeda, Kyogo, Jota.

Kick Off Time

The game kicks off at 12pm (Celtic Park time).

Where to Watch

The game will be shown on Sky Sports Football (11:30), The Pass to Paradise and Celtic TV for subscribers (outside Britain & Ireland).
