Adam Idah needs our backing to up his game. There is nothing to be gained by getting on his case during this difficult spell where both his form and his confidence have fallen away…

Let’s make some noise for the big guy who won Celtic the Scottish Cup last season with his 90th minute winner against theRangers…

Adam Idah is going through something of a tough time at the moment, that isn’t exactly a secret. He’s failed to hit the back of the net since late November and he looks very low on confidence after that goalless 12 game run.
£9.5 million price tag weighs heavy
Yes, we all know that is simply not good enough for a Celtic striker, especially one that the club splashed out a reported £9.5 million on. Adam to his credit works hard, but his main objective is to put the ball in the net, and that is something he is failing to do at this moment in time. But we also know that he is more than capable as he has already shown in Celtic colours. Last season his goals played a significant part in Celtic winning the league and Scottish Cup double.

Regrettably some supporters are on his back, and while they are entitled to criticise him due to his massive price tag, especially when they know what he’s capable of after his goals were so influential in our double win last season.
Adam deserves our backing
Adam surely deserves our backing. It won’t do his confidence any good if supporters get on his back, but at the same time he’s got to start upping his game, and proving to us and to himself that he’s the player we all know he can be.

Hopefully he does just that starting this evening against Kilmarnock. If he gets just one goal, it would be a great confidence booster, and we might just start to see the Adam Idah of last season.
Would the real Adam Idah please stand up
