A comment from a no-mark player from theRangers has made for some interesting headlines this week…

The player in question was Ross McCausland (who?) and according to him, fellow teammate Clinton Nsiala (who?) reminds him and his fellow bench buddies of a certain Virgil Van Djik.
High praise indeed for a young player who was only made a couple of first team appearances, and in McCausland’s own words he and some of his teammates have seen enough to confidently describe him as “a left footed Van Djik” . The new Virgil van Dijk is playing for theRangers the club that always does it’s big talking off the park.
The boy is allowed his opinion of course, and whether we like it or not everyone is entitled to one, even if it’s complete pie in the sky, nonsense.

Young Ross’s very public opinion is just another example of the infectious delusion that covers the Ibrox club from top to bottom. From those upstairs, to the management team, the playing staff, and the supporters, they are so far detached from reality that they really should be seeking professional medical advice.
How else can you explain it? Nsiala is the latest in the long line of players who are being dubbed the new someone or another.
They repeatedly proclaim to have the best goalkeeper, best defender, best midfielder, best striker etc, yet they are still second best by a great distance. This remember is a support who just the other week were publicly calling for change due to a ‘drop in standards’ and this week scrapped their B team.
Make it make sense…incidentally have they painted out their Most Successful Club in the World nonsense yet? Bet they haven’t!
Just an Ordinary Bhoy
