Celtic face Livingston on Saturday as Ange Postecoglou’s side looks to continue their run of five wins in a row. The Celts were excellent in the first half at Easter Road, winning 3-1 thanks to goals from Tony Ralston, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Kyogo.
The win comes as Scottish referees have been criticised for missing or mistaking key decisions. Don Robertson mistook the lunge from Ryan Porteous on Callum McGregor as a yellow card offence but replays highlight how dangerous the tackle was from the central defender. The Celtic skipper was lucky to leave Easter Road with only two gashes on his shin and nothing more serious. Across the M8, John Beaton made a seriously poor decision to award a penalty in the last ten minutes at Ibrox.
However, Saturday brings Matchday 12 for Celtic and it will be David Martindale’s Livi that will arrive at Celtic Park. Andrew Shinnie’s only goals separated the sides in September and The SFA have confirmed that Bobby Madden will referee the game. Madden will be assisted by John McCrossan and Stuart Stevenson with Steven McLean operating as Fourth Official.

Madden last refereed a Celtic game at the beginning of October as Postecoglou’s side won up at Pittodrie. Celtic have hit a groove that teams are clearly struggling to stop but require protection from referees.
