Celtic face Raith Rovers at Celtic Park in the Fifth Round of the Scottish Cup. A win over Alloa Athletic last month set up the tie against the Kirkcaldy side with a place in the Quarter-Finals at stake. Ange Postecoglou side have been in fantastic form since the return from the winter break and the manager will be hoping that this continues against the visitors from the Championship.
Team News
Celtic are expected to make a number of changes to the team this afternoon as Ange looks to manage the playing time of some of his players. There are no fresh injury concerns. Much like Wednesday night’s win over Aberdeen, the Celts are without Josip Juranovic, Kyogo Furuhashi and David Turnbull.
Juranovic is unavailable with illness but he will be back during the week for the visit of Bodo-Glimt. Meanwhile, Kyogo and Turnbull are working their way back from hamstring injuries sustained in December.
Christopher Jullien is pushing for a place in the team. The manager has confirmed he will be part of the squad, marking over a year since the horror smash that left him out of the game for months. Stephen Welsh will be hoping to get some game time as well but the manager will know not to disrupt his settled backline too much. Nir Bitton, James McCarthy, James Forrest and Scott Bain could all be looking for time on the pitch.
Kick Off Time
The game kicks off at 4 pm (Celtic Park time).
