Celtic v St Mirren – Back to Winning Ways Bhoys

Today is as important as Thursday. We better remember to turn up. It’s not over by a long shot.

It’s match day and we’re back at Paradise as we host St Mirren in the Scottish Premiership.

After the dire performance at Ibrox on Thursday it’s time to make amends and get back on track as we aim to tighten our grip on our fourth successive league title.

There can’t be any sign of a New Year hangover today, we’ve got to get that defeat out of our system and get back to winning ways. Anything less will be unacceptable.

Perhaps the players and the manager were a little bit guilty of taking it easy on Thursday due to our superior lead at the top of the standings, and that proved to be a major mistake as they paid a heavy price against a side who were more desperate for the victory.

Hopefully lessons have been learned and both the manager and players will be desperate to make amends by putting Thursdays calamity firmly behind them and proving to themselves and the supporters that are fully focused on delivering a fourth successive title.

Today is just as important as Thursday, unlike then we better remember to turn up. It’s not over by a long shot.

Let’s roar Celtic on and help them get back to winning ways.

An ordinary everyday Celtic supporters hailing and still residing in Govan in the shadows of the enemy. I’m a season ticket holder. I Witnessed my first Celtic game in 1988 and have attended when I can ever since. Growing up in the 90s I witnessed Celtic at their lowest, and now appreciate the historic success we enjoy today. I enjoy writing about this wonderful football club and hopefully will continue to do so. I’ve always been a keen writer and initially started this a hobby. My ambition is to one day become as good an author as my fellow Celtic Star colleagues.
