Celtic v St Mirren – Euan Anderson to referee clash

Celtic will face St Mirren on Wednesday night and the SFA have confirmed that Euan Anderson will referee the clash. Ange Postecoglou’s side goes into the game three points clear at the top of the table while Rangers kick-off away from home in Perth.

Anderson will be aided by Assistant Referees Daniel McFarlane and Jonathan Bell, with Don Robertson operating as Fourth Official. The teacher last officiated Celtic in the League as they beat Dundee United thanks to a Liel Abada winner. However, that day, he decided to send Nir Bitton off with a contentious second yellow card.

The game will kick off at a 7:45pm (Celtic Park time) and fans will be hoping that Ange’s team can bounce back from the draw at Easter Road on Sunday. Celtic have been excellent since returning back from the winter break, stringing together a number of impressive wins. However, the European exit and the draw at the weekend, have some panicking. It is important that the players that are out injured get back to fitness asap to allow the manager a full compliment of players to choose from.
