Celtic was their priority – Simon Jordan shows up the Scottish media

Let’s get one thing straight, I’m no fan of Simon Jordan or the radio station that employs him. But today the former Crystal Palace owner was bang on the money with his comments regarding the hysteria surrounding the second postponement of theRangers game at Dundee.

Simon entered territory where no SMSM employee would dare dream of trespassing when he called out the hypocrisy of the Ibrox club.

Simon got straight to the point and nailed it when he said that the Ibrox club could have played the game last midweek, but it didn’t suit them because they were playing Celtic on Sunday. Game, set and match, Jordan nailed it.

How refreshing it is it to hear an unbiased voice on such matters? Contrast that to the waffle we have to read and listen to up here. It’s night and day, and a change from the belly tickling spineless hacks of the SMSM.

Simon is usually a bit of a pillock, but he’s shown the SMSM up for what they are. The Dens Park pitch might be an embarrassing state of affairs, but our media are proving that they are just as embarrassing by not highlighting the two sides of the story.

Everything Simon Jordan had to say as he calls out theRangers can be read on this article on Celtic Shorts.
