Celtic will need to earn another tough away cup-tie

Hopefully this afternoon we earn our place for a trip a inevitable trip to Tynecastle or maybe Rugby Park in the quarter final draw…

It’s game day, and after the last few outings it’s not one that we are looking forward to with too much confidence, especially as it’s a cup tie away to an inform St Mirren side. But it’s a cup tie and as the old clique goes, ‘anything can happen’ so maybe, just maybe we will see our side put on a confident and inspirational performance with a few goals to boot, who knows? We can only hope.

We can’t be any worse than our last few games that’s for sure. Maybe we’re just in a mini slump and today is the day we will wake up and show everyone why we are the Champions of this country and also the current Scottish Cup holders.

It’s imperative we are at the top of our game today, that’s a given. We need to be fully focused and firing on all cylinders if we want to progress to the quarter finals that’s for sure. We can’t allow any further negativity to engulf our club. We need to win and see our name in the hat for the draw later this evening. We need to earn that right to face the inevitable trip to either Hearts or Kilmarnock in the quarter finals next month. That’s how it works right?
