Luis Palma has signalled his openness to extending his stay in Poland, suggesting a permanent switch could appeal after enjoying a productive spell away from Celtic…

The winger has impressed during his loan stint with Lech Poznan, establishing himself as an influential player in the Ekstraklasa since arriving on loan from the Hoops in the summer.
However, Lech’s hierarchy have acknowledged the financial hurdles involved in trying to secure Palma permanently.
Club president Piotr Rutkowski recently confirmed talks have stalled – with Celtic unwilling to lower their £3.5 million valuation – leaving a final call on Palma’s future to be made once the season concludes.

Speaking via Glasgow Times, Palma said: “I feel happy in Poznan. My goal is to win the Polish championship. I’m looking forward to the second half of the season.”
“When my agent first called me and said he saw a possibility of me joining Lech, I quickly decided to move. I think I thought about it for maybe two or three days with my family, and then I agreed.”
“I was very excited when I arrived in the city and hoped to have a successful season with the team. So far, we’re on the right track. I’m doing my best to contribute, and I am happy with my goals and assists. I’m very satisfied and happy in Poznan.”

Palma added: “From the very beginning, I’ve had a great working relationship with manager Niels Frederiksen, as well as with the entire coaching staff. I can always turn to someone for help. I’m very grateful for the trust the coach has placed in me.”
“We’re fighting on three fronts for trophies, and that’s especially important. We will have to wait and see what the future holds. I hope this season will be a good one for us. As I said, I want to finish it in the best possible way. What happens after that depends only on God.”

“I’m in Poznan with my wife, and we love it here. I’m really glad we can get to know the city better.”
🗣️ “The Celtic players look directionless. The squad is in dire need of major surgery.”
