Celtic’s away ticket allocation for UCL away fixture v Atletico Madrid revealed

The Celtic Ticket Office has this afternoon confirmed the away ticket allocation that the club has received for the Champions League away match against Atletico Madrid in their Civitas Metropolitan Stadium on match-day 4 on Tuesday 7 November. The official allocation is confirmed at 3,431 tickets for travelling Celtic supporters for the away end.

Before that the two teams will meet in Glasgow under the lights at Celtic Park in a fortnight’s time with Celtic probably needing to get a win to kick-start our European campaign after disappointing results against Feyenoord in Rotterdam and Lazio at Celtic Park when we were mugged in the closing stages in a match we deserved to win.

If Celtic can take win the home match against Atletico it will open up the group and get us back into contention at the half-way stage. Then with at least 3,341 Celtic supporters inside the Metropolitan Stadium anything we can take from the game will be a huge boost to our chances.

No doubt many more Celtic supporters will turn up in Madrid and many will somehow or other manage to find their way inside the ground. These supporters and the rest who will be at Celtic Park for the home game certainly deserve a positive result or two in the Champions League and the games against Atletico would be a great time to get them. We can but hope.
