Celtic’s ‘Best of luck’ message as Internationalist heads out on Emergency Loan

CELTIC goalkeeper Conor Hazard has today signed for Dundee on an emergency loan, the Dens Park club have announced on their website.

The Northern Ireland international keeper has previously had loan spells at both Falkirk and Partick Thistle and is now on his way to Tayside after their current fist pick keeper Jack Hamilton underwent surgery to have his appendix removed this week.

“It’s very frustrating for Jack and the team. He has been fantastic this season and is a big player in our dressing room,” Dundee’s manager James McPake stated.

“We have had to act quickly and I’m delighted that we have been able to get someone of Conor’s quality in.”

“He is a player who has played in this league over the past two seasons and also has experience of playing at international level.”

The on-loan Celtic man goes straight into the squad for Friday night’s match away to Ayr United and will wear number 20 for Dundee.

Celtic re-tweeted the news coming out of Dundee and wished Conor the ‘Best of luck’, a sentiment we’d all agree with.
