Celtic’s Conor Hazard in Veikkausliiga title triumph with HJK Helsinki

Celtic goalkeeper Conor Hazard has been enjoying a successful season with his current loan club HJK Helsinki. The goalkeeper helped secure the Veikkausliiga League Title after making 19 league appearances and maintaining 8 clean sheets.

Hazard took a gamble heading to Finland to achieve first-team football. However, he appears to have made the right call, as he has secured his position in the team and racked up some valuable experience playing for the Finnish Champions. The Celtic loanee is due back in Paradise in December after leaving Parkhead to join Helsinki in January.

Although the Celtic man is enjoying his successes abroad, his Celtic contract is set to expire at the end of this season, so it is unlikely that he will be able to put his name forward for a place in Ange Postecoglou’s squad. It could mean a permanent move to HJK Helsinki is on the cards for the Celtic keeper.

Hazard is a Celtic fan and his heroics at Hampden to help secure the final trophy of the historic Quadruple Treble will never be forgotten by the Celtic support. The goalkeeper will no doubt continue to add medals to his cabinet, although his future successes look unlikely to be with Celtic.

Well done Conor on your recent success in Finland.
