Celtic’s League Cup semi-final draw: when is it and where to watch it

Celtic will enter the Premier Sports Cup semi-final after the result at Fir Park this evening. Ange Postecoglou’s side were comfortable as goals from Liel Abada, Reo Hatate and Kyogo sealed progression into the next round.

Kilmarnock are already in the hat, having beaten Dundee United at Rugby Park last night. Celtic’s 4-0 win dumps Motherwell out the competition and means that the holders will be back at Hampden as the winners of Aberdeen v Partick Thistle and Rangers v Dundee will complete the set.

The draw will take place tonight following the game at Ibrox, which kicked off at 8:15 pm. Premier Sports 1 will show the draw when the game concludes in Govan.

The games will be played on the weekend of 14th/15th January at Hampden. The teams will be vying for place in the showpiece final at the end of February, with the game set to take place on Sunday 26th.

Last season, Ange picked up his first silverware as Celtic manager with a win over Hibernian at Hampden. Goals from Kyogo saw Celtic come from behind at the National Stadium to lift the trophy. It was a reward after a testing month and acted as a catalyst for the team to hit new heights after the New Year.
