Celtic’s midweek opponents Kilmarnock have returned two positive COVID-19 tests, prompting concerns that the Ayrshire side have suffered an outbreak amongst their first team squad.
The Scottish Sun are reporting that the outbreak is small and contained; however, the players will need to undergo testing ahead of the game on Tuesday night at Rugby Park. Hopefully there are no more cases and those that have contracted the virus are recovering.

It remains unclear as to who the players in question are. Although, Celtic will be hoping that they can get a positive result at Rugby Park regardless of who they are up against.
Celtic face St Mirren at Celtic Park and can eat into Rangers’ lead at the top of the table with wins today and Tuesday before Rangers play again on Wednesday. COVID-19 has caused an enormous amount of stress on playing squads across the country with the vast majority of teams suffering minor outbreaks. It is testament to the hard work of clubs to make sure that these outbreaks are small and contained.
Im sure their reserves could beat us at the moment. We are even losing at home to St Mirren as I type this.
