But he was far from ‘underperforming’ and a ‘waste of money’ as some of the more critical element of our support put it a few weeks back now.
However, with each passing game Arne has improved as he settled into his new environment and he has being producing a high level of performance on a consistent basis. He’s even made his mark at full international level with Belgium, and you don’t do that at a young age if you’re an average player.

Why Arne was ever doubted is a mystery. If you understand football then you can see that Arne is a quality player, those who are heavily critical of him just choose not to recognise that or they just don’t know what they were talking about.
