Clearly Dundee United boss Jim Goodwin senses an opportunity to take something from Celtic Park with Brendan Rodgers’ side perhaps already having one eye on the Allianz Arena on Tuesday night. Indeed the Celtic manager is likely to field a side today that rests as many starters in Munich as possible believing in his squad and their ability to get the job done.
Another tough game against The Tangerines
Today Celtic take on third place Dundee United at Celtic Park in what will surely be a tough match, if our previous two games against The Tangerines this campaign is anything to go by.
Back in December we were held to a goalless stalemate at Tannadice, whilst a few weeks later we beat Jim Goodman’s side 2-0 at Celtic Park, but it proved to be anything but straightforward, as it took a Reo Hatate goal ten minutes from time to ensure Celtic collected all three points.
Brendan Rodgers is likely to ring a few changes to the starting XI after our midweek exploits against Bayern, and naturally he’ll have on eye on Tuesdays second leg in Munich. So expect to see a couple of tweaks to that starting line up.

That doesn’t change our outlook. Whoever is selected in the starting XI to take on a decent and well organised Dundee United side, the objective still remains the same, and that is to ensure we win the game and earn another three points that will see us stride a little bit closer to clinching yet another league title.
A win today would help massively with that aim as it would send us 16 points clear, thus piling further pressure on a theRangers side who head to Tynecastle to take on an in form Hearts on Sunday.
