Chris Sutton has reacted to Celtic’s fantastic performance at Easter Road, as the Hoops put four past Hibernian and secured all three points from the Scottish Premiership clash.
Easter Road has proved to be a tough challenge for Celtic as the Hoops have only now won two games there in the past five seasons. However, the Hoops stepped up and stunned the Edinburgh side by putting four past former Celtic goalkeeper David Marshall.
It looked as if every Celtic player on the field was pushing themselves to try and make an impact in the match. No doubt, this will be the result of Ange pushing his mantra of ‘we never stop’ onto the Celtic players. With the Glasgow Derby quickly approaching, players will be competing for a space in Ange’s starting line-up.
This view was taken by Chris Sutton who complimented the Celtic performance in the Capital, directing special praise towards Aaron Mooy and Daizen Maeda for their excellent performances and goals. Sutton believes that the competition for spaces within the Celtic midfield has risen due to Mooy’s increasingly impressive performances.
Sutton took to Twitter to sing Celtic’s praises…
Aaron Mooy with a couple of goals tonight and his all round performance was really excellent. Good competition for places in that central midfield area. Maeda a real handful off the left. A performance of real authority tonight at a tricky venue🍀👏👏

Sutton also added in a separate tweet that “Celtic are a brilliant watch” adding his own applause.
