Video: One, Two, Three Four – Piling on the Agony, Putting on the Style

Celtic’s recent record at Easter Road hasn’t been great, as the Hoops only achieved their second victory there last night, in the past five years. So, to see Celtic put four past Hibs is a testament to how well Ange Postecoglou’s side are playing this season and indeed throughout 2022.

Aaron Mooy got Celtic started by scoring his first goal for Celtic . A cross from Maeda allowed the ball to drop kindly for the Australian international, and Mooy had the wits to put his laces through the ball and put it past David Marshall.

Seconds after hitting the bar with an open goal header, Daizen Maeda made up for his error by netting Celtic’s second goal of the evening. Maeda dribbled from the halfway line to the edge of the box, where he took aim and slotted the ball past the Hibernian goalkeeper.

Following a handball in Hibernian’s 18-yard box, Aaron Mooy stepped up to take a Penalty for Celtic. Calm and collected, Mooy sends Marshall to the right while he slots the ball in the bottom left corner.

Hatate’s piercing ball through the Hibernian Centre-halves put Kyogo through to score Celtic’s final goal of the match. Kyogo remains composed and calmly dribbles the ball past the keeper and puts the ball into the net.
