Chris Sutton Gives Cheeky Rangers Penalty Prediction As He Backs Both Glasgow Giants To Win Opening Games

Celtic hero Chris Sutton is never shy to poke fun at the Hoops’ rivals across the city. It was quite astonishing that the team playing out of Ibrox didn’t concede a single penalty in the league, prior to being named champions, whilst they were awarded a number of spot kicks at the opposite end. It may be a new season with a fresh start for all, but Sutton hasn’t forgotten anything as he took to Twitter and gave his cheeky opening day predictions.

As seen above, the former Celtic, Blackburn and Chelsea striker backed Rangers to win 4-0, but with three penalties helping them along the way. In terms of his Celtic prediction, he backs Ange Postecoglou to record a narrow victory on his first domestic game in charge.

His tweet has caused quite a stir with his subtle dig getting a lot of bites from fans of a certain Govan club.

Classic Sutton!
