Christopher Jullien posts hilarious tweet following Hibernian win

Christopher Jullien has been as solid as a rock in the heart of the Celtic defence since joining the club earlier in the summer. And he was his reliable self for the 2-0 win over Hibernian on Sunday except for one moment of madness that could have ended up with the Frenchman scoring but in the opposite net.

Jullien has only Fraser Forster to thank for saving him the blushes. The moment came late in the game when the defender poked his head at a cross from Hogan. The ball was heading into his own net but thankfully Forster pulled off an impressive safe to keep it 2-0 to the hosts. That was the closest that Hibernian came to scoring on the day.

Everybody saw the funny side of things after the game was done. Especially, Jullien himself who posted a hilarious tweet claiming it was pass to the goalkeeper:

Celtic had only managed a 1-1 draw against Hibernian away in Edinburgh earlier in the season. And they would have been eager not to repeat the same mistakes on Sunday. If Jullien’s header had gone in, it could have made for a nervy finish and things would not have seemed s funny as they do now. But thankfully, Fraser Forster was there to save the day one more time.
