Confirmed! Bain and Burke in Celtic team to face Airdrie

The Celtic team to play Airdrie in this afternoon’s Scottish Cup 4th Round tie is just as we revealed earlier today but with Scott Bain in goals rather than Craig Gordon.

Here is the team:

Scott Bain is preferred to Craig Gordon in goal. The back four consists of Anthony Ralston, Filip Benkovic, Dedryck Boyata and Emilio Izaguirre.

In midfield Scott Brown Captains the side and plays alongside Callum McGregor. Ryan Christie plays in the Number 10 role, with Tom Rogic missing due to his Asian Cup commitments with Australia. Did you see his dramatic, 93rd minute winning goal for the Socceroos during the week?

James Forrest is on the right wing, Scotty Sinclair on the left and new loan signing Oliver Burke is playing through the middle.
