Copenhagen 1 Celtic 1 – Watch the BT Sport Highlights

Fraser Forster’s incredible penalty save earned Celtic a crucial draw away to F.C. Copenhagen in the Europa League round of 32 first-leg. Celtic dominated the first half and Odsonne Edouard eventually gave Celtic the lead with his third clear sight of the Copenhagen goal. And it was a case of third time unlucky for the hosts as Edouard produced a delightful finish.

Nobody is really sure what happened at half-time but the tables were certainly turned on Celtic and after Olivier Ntcham tried to be too clever on the edge of his box Copenhagen levelled the match through their veteran striker Dame N’Doye with Fraser Forster helpless.

VAR was being used for the first time in a competitive Celtic match and many of us thought that we’d be on the wrong side of it, and so it turned out. The penalty decision was given the new rules probably the correct one but what was that booking for Ryan Christie all about? A ridiculous decision from the Russian referee that rules Christie out for the second leg next Thursday night under the disco lights at a sold out Celtic Park.

Before that Christie can now take his frustrations out on Kilmarnock in the Premiership at Celtic Park on Sunday. And can we see Tom Rogic please, Neil?

Here are the highlights from last night and Sandman’s hilarious player ratings – Ajer and Griff lol – are just below…
