Daizen Maeda posts message to supporters: ” I’m grateful and delighted to be a part of Celtic”

One of Celtic’s new Bhoys, striker Daizen Maeda has posted a message on social media directly to the Celtic support in which he states he is both grateful and delighted to be joining our club and can’t wait to get started in sharing the joy of winning with Celtic.

“Hello everyone, Daizen made posted. “It’s an honour to be here. I’m Daizen Maeda from Japan. I’m grateful and delighted to be a part of Celtic. I’m looking forward to contributing to the team and sharing the joy of winning at Celtic Park with all of you. I can’t wait to get started. Thank you!”

Maeda’s post came as a response to the official Celtic website’s feature on the new signing quoting his ‘Welcome to Celtic’ interview on Celtic TV. Here’s some of what the new Celtic striker had to say: “I know the manager from before so I’m really looking forward to it. He’s always playing attacking football so I’m looking forward to playing that style of football again with him.

“My strength is my speed so I would like to use my speed to attack opponents, and try to get as many goals as possible.

“All the Japanese players will try to play together and to be successful with Celtic, so we will work hard to try and get the title this season.”
