Daizen on fire, is he the man to challenge Kyogo and Oh for the striker spot?
Daizan Maeda fired a terrific first half hat trick against old side Yokohama F Marinos in todays 6-4 friendly defeat.

Regularly used on the left wing by Ange Postecoglou, Daizen looked more lethal and lively though the middle under Brendan Rodgers in todays game.
Daizen has all the attributes to be a natural striker, he has a tremendous work rate and pace and he can of course do the most important thing a striker can possess, he can finish.

Been waiting for this. Maeda was run into the ground by Ange when there was a striker waiting to get out. Why did he miss so many chances? …because he was knackered when a chance came his way. Hopefully he’s now back to blasting the ball into the net. Not a great Rodgers fan but he seems to have seen the light with this one.
