David Potter on Celtic’s Scottish Cup Final wins from 2005 to 2020

CELTIC’S SCOTTISH CUP FINAL VICTORIES – Number 36…CELTIC 3-0 HIBS – HAMPDEN, 26 MAY 2013 – The authorities in their wisdom decided that this game should be played on a Sunday, and that Celtic should play in black, so in some ways, this was a most unusual Scottish Cup final. It was however a fairly comfortable win in the Hampden sun to complete a League and Cup double.

Gary Hooper had not always been in top form for Celtic that year, but today he scored a couple of fine goals in the first half, and might even had scored a hat-trick but it was Joe Ledley who finished the job to win the Scottish Cup for Celtic for the 36th time. Fortunately Celtic once again changed out of that black rubbish into the green and white hoops to pick up the trophy.

The Celtic team was: Forster, Izaguirre, Wilson, Mulgrew, Lustig, Brown (Ambrose), Commons (Samaras), Ledley, Forrest (McCourt), Stokes, Hooper.
