David Potter on Celtic’s Scottish Cup Final wins from 2005 to 2020

CELTIC’S SCOTTISH CUP FINAL VICTORIES – Number 39…CELTIC 2-1 HEARTS – HAMPDEN, 25 MAY 2019 – For reasons that no-one really understood, Brendan Rodgers had suddenly jumped ship to go to Leicester in mid-season, but Neil Lennon had returned and fitted in seamlessly to take the club to its eighth League championship in a row, and now to its treble treble at a rainy Hampden against Hearts.

The first half was poor, but Hearts scored early in the second half before Odsonne Edouard scored with a softish penalty, and then scored the winner as he ran on to a through ball and finished clinically. About an hour later, Neil Lennon who had been doing the job on a temporary basis was given the job full time.
