Dembele nails it with brilliant troll that embarrasses Daily Record

Moussa Dembele has reacted to theRangers being Simply the Worst team in Champions League group stage history. The former Celtic striker has previous for making the Ibrox club’s lives a nightmare. Announcing his arrival on the scene back in 2016, Moussa scored a hat-trick in his first Glasgow Derby match at Celtic Park, as we ran out comfortable 5-1 winners.

He went on to cause more chaos and carnage for their supporters when he punished them at Ibrox and in the League Cup at Hampden Park; calmly flicking the ball through Wes Foderingham’s legs to secure a victory that left them demoralised late on.

Even after his departure, it now seems that there is no escaping the big Frenchman, as he has been known to troll the blue half of the city in the past. His latest one is quite something as his rapier wit matches his footballing ability it would seem. Taking to Twitter last night, Dembele was quick to point out factual reality; congratulating them on their very first Champions League outing since their formation in 2012. He comments:

“After all it was the first ever Champions League campaign in their history. Well done to them…#Since2012.”

The Lyon player had used the Daily Record’s news article of this factual information to support his awesome troll. However, in response, the Record (as is the case ad nauseam) reported on Dembele’s Tweet with disdain. I believe the phrase used in the article was, “he took to social media to harken back to Rangers off field issues back in 2012”.

Now that ladies and gentlemen, is beyond economical with the truth.

It’s ok though.

We all know what the score really is…

Some man is big Moussa!

I'm a Garngad Bhoy through and through. My first ever Celtic game was a friendly against Italian side Parma at Celtic Park, in 2002. Currently a student of English Literature and Education at the University of Strathclyde for my sins. Favourite game would be a toss up between beating Manchester United with that Naka freekick, or the game against the Oldco when Hesselink scored in the dying seconds. I'm still convinced Cal Mac is wasted playing that far back.
