Dundee United v Celtic: team news, KO time and where to watch

Celtic face Dundee United this afternoon in Matchday 5 of the Cinch Premiership. After Rangers won yesterday at home to Ross County, the Scottish Champions will look to regain their place at the top of the league.

Team News

There are no fresh injury concerns for Ange as he heads to the City of Discovery. He does need to weigh hp a few key decisions this afternoon.

Firstly, who does he go with at the back – Carl Starfelt or Moritz Jenz. The Champions League games are coming up soon but not before Rangers visit Celtic Park, the manager will need to bed Starfelt back in if he still sees him as first pick beside CCV.

In the middle of the park, the next conundrum is whether he goes for Reo Hatate or David Turnbull. Hatate came on during the win over Hearts and added energy. You’d think given the game against Rangers and Real Madrid follow the midweek trip to Ross County.

The next decision is between Giorgos Giakoumakis or Kyogo in attack. Kyogo has had the nod so far this season in attack but the Greek striker has been waiting in the wings for the chance to lead the line.

Predicted XI: Hart; Taylor, Starfelt, CCV, Juranovic; McGregor, Hatate, O’Riley; Maeda, Kyogo, Jota.

Kick Off Time

The game kicks off at 12pm (Celtic Park time).

Where to Watch

The game will be shown on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football, with coverage starting at 11am. Celtic TV subscribers will be able to watch, provided they’re outside Britain & Ireland.

Come on Celtic!
