Celtic’s Luis Palma is a target for a number of English Championship clubs…

Palma has fallen down the pecking order at Celtic Park
The winger had an impressive start to life at Celtic but has fallen out of the first team picture, often failing to get on ahead of Yang and James Forrest.
Now, Pete O’Rourke of Football Insider is linking Palma with a Celtic exit this month. The report states that Palma is wanted by Sunderland, Stoke, Swansea and Queens Park Rangers with a number of European sides also interested.

The 25-year-old has made 11 appearances this year but has been limited to just 252 minutes on the pitch. Brendan commented on Palma’s exemplary attitude and commitment in training but the winger has failed to break into the team and is said to want to make a move away in order to get regular first team football.
Palma was seen as a Jota replacement, now it’s the other way round
It makes sense that the tricky winger wants a move, Luis Palma is likely to struggle even more for game time with the impending return of Jota to Celtic. The Honduran was tipped as being Jota’s replacement when he arrived from Aris after Jota went to Saudi Arabia in 2023.

Palma will likely be allowed to move towards the end of the week as Celtic complete their UCL league phase with a game against Aston Villa in Birmingham. Celtic are targeting more incomings with Kieran Tierney and Jota the most likeliest. The Scottish Champions reportedly want another striker with Kyogo on the verge of the exit to Rennes.
