Celtic set to be awarded ‘elite’ status by Adidas after agreeing a new deal…
The Scottish Champions signed a record-breaking deal to make the German manufacturers their kit providers in 2020, which has reaped rewards for both parties to the contract.

Now, Footy Headlines are reporting that Celtic are to be included alongside Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Liverpool as an elite team.
Celtic one of five new ‘elite teams’
Celtic will be included as part of the five new elite teams working with Adidas. The current five elite teams are Real Madrid, Manchester United, Arsenal, Bayern Munich, and Juventus. Adidas will replace Nike as Liverpool’s kit supplier starting from the 2025-26 season, officially making Liverpool a direct Adidas elite team from that point onward. Additionally, four new elite teams will join the ranks in the 2025-26 season: Newcastle United, Aston Villa, Celtic, and AS Roma.

Expect a bumble bee away kit next season
The new deal will be announced in due course but it is expected that Celtic will unveil a bumble bee away kit for next season, wearing the colours for the first time since 2018/19.
Meanwhile, Celtic have had a weekend off after their game was put off as a result of Storm Éowyn. The Celts will be looking to continue their excellent European campaign as they travel to Birmingham during the week to face Aston Villa.

Yes like most things Celtic .F.C.1888 board do is professional and everything up front Adidas no they have a great ambassador and great support around the world
Really Jack? Professional? Selling Kyogo for peanuts at this stage of the season and bringing in Tierney and Jota who have played nearly no football since leaving us. Letting Sevco push a continuity myth and not campaigning to strip their titles.
Allowing Rodgers to leave mid season… Aye so professional.
Besides this story is dubious at best Adidas were set to make us an “elite” club when we signed the new deal but then down graded us to the next tier. Essentially an Elite club in Scotland only.
Elite status would give us Celtic trainers and heaps of training gear and other cool merch in stores across the world.
The downgraded status is a couple of t shirts and merch items but only sold in Scotland.
So unless Adidas have done a u turn again this is a recycled story from late last year.
