Every game from now on is a Cup Final, starting at Dens Park on Sunday

The scramble will soon be on for Scottish Cup Final tickets after Celtic’s victory against Aberdeen followed by theRangers win over Hearts confirmed a Hampden Glasgow Derby Final on 25 May and the battle for the final piece of silverware this season, the Scottish Cup.

It’s a game that has every single supporter of both Glasgow clubs will be licking their lips in anticipation, and one that can’t come quick enough. But before that Celtic have five more cup finals to negotiate as we enter the final round of fixtures in the Scottish Premiership, the first of which is played on Sunday afternoon as we head to Dens to take on a dogged Dundee side.

Each and every game from now on in will be tough, it’s the top six and every game will bring a difficult challenge. The pressure will be immense, and it’s a challenge we have to be prepared for.

We have the cushion of a three point lead. But that’s the equivalent of heading into the last ten minutes of game holding on to a 2-1 lead, and as we know in that scenario, it only takes one lapse of concentration to change the dynamics of the situation.

We need to be alert and fully focused, we need to play to the best of our ability and make our experience in these situations count. It’s all in our hands and need to make sure we win all of our remaining games. Do that and we will be Champions, and then we can focus on lifting the Scottish Cup.

I Witnessed my first Celtic game in 1988 and have attended when I can ever since. Growing up in the 90s I witnessed Celtic at their lowest, and now appreciate the historic success we enjoy today. I enjoy writing about this wonderful football club and hopefully will continue to do so. I’ve always been a keen writer and initially started this a hobby. My ambition is to one day become as good an author as my fellow Celtic Star colleagues.
