Everyone Left Dazed and Confused as Crafty Tactics Embarrasses Celtic TV’s Camera Operator

Frankly we don’t know who to feel sorry for the most. Maybe the Hibs Women manager Dean Gibson who clearly had taken heed of the threat Celtic posed at set-plays after the two wonderful headers from corners gave Celtic the three points at theRangers Training Ground at the weekend?

Or maybe the pity should be directed at the usually composed Celtic TV camera operator who seldom if ever has seen their heads spinning like last night for Celtic’s winner from Caitlin Hayes. Check it out below and you’ll see how the change to Celtic’s set play tactics confused the Hibs defence completely allowing the Celtic defender to sneak in at the back post and head her first goal for the Hoops and baffled the camera operator in the process!

But the person who wins our pitiful moment award goes to the Hibs goalkeeper Emily Mutch who is left dazed and confused to fine her entire defence trying to defend the set-plays Celtic used at the weekend only to find that crafty Spaniard Fran Alonso opted for something completely different and there she was the imposing figure of Caitlin Hayes running in unnoticed to nod the ball into the empty net.

Credit where it’s due to the Celtic TV camera operator who recovered in the nick of time in time to avoid totally missing the goal. Watch for yourselves and marvel at the thought of a Celtic manager saying that they’ll expect us to do this so instead we’ll hit them with something complete different, then see it executed to perfection. Outstanding from Fran Alonso and his Celtic side.

Here’s the table with two games remaining, Celtic are at home to Forfar Farmington on Sunday and a week later play the final game of the season away to Motherwell. Top two qualify for the Champions League. On the final day Glasgow City play theRangers so something must give there.

Celtic will be in the Champions League if we can win both games. We’d need Glasgow City to lose (probably to theRangers) and Celtic to get to high scoring wins to give Celtic the SWPL 1 title. A long shot but stranger things…
