Fabrizio Romano confirms Inter transfer plans amidst Matt O’Riley links

Fabrizio Romano has updated fans on Inter Milan’s transfer plans amidst links to Celtic star Matt O’Riley. The Italian transfer guru took to Twitter/X to confirm that Simone Inzaghi’s side are interested in signing Medhi Taremi and Tajon Buchanan.

Celtic’s Matt O’Riley has been linked with the Serie A club ahead of the January window. The 22-year-old has been excellent this season under Brendan Rodgers and the manager said he wouldn’t want to lose quality when that is what he was looking to add.

The report from Sky Sports suggests that Inter are keen on signing the Danish Internationalist on a loan with the obligation to buy in the summer. It would be a transfer that could impact Celtic’s second half of the season and, with his a long term contract, he wouldn’t come cheap.

Rodgers will want to keep a hold of the midfielder and bring a number of first team options into the squad in January.
