Fabrizio Romano reacts to Celtic’s Trophy Day display

Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano reacted to Celtic Park’s stunning display as Ange Postecoglou’s side were presented with the Premiership trophy. North Curve Celtic organised a truly remarkable full-stadium mosaic paying tribute to legendary managers Willie Maley and Jock Stein.

The display was accompanied by a message saying ‘STAND ON THE SHOULDERS OF GIANTS’ as the supporters toasted the success of this current group, ahead of a potential historic Treble next weekend.

It was a simply stunning display and it was funded by the fans, not the club, like certain teams in England’s top flight. Celtic won 5-0 as they rounded off the league season with a thumping win.

Romano also reported upon Postecoglou’s comments post-match as he brushed off the speculation linking him to the Tottenham Hotspur vacancy.

The manager has reiterated that he is focused solely upon the winning of the Scottish Cup next weekend against Inverness CT at Hampden.
