Fixtures as we predicted, Celtic fans vote overwhelmingly to scrap the split – see results

THE SPFL have finally got round to announcing the post-split fixtures and as The Celtic Star revealed on Monday evening – read HERE – we will get the chance to wrap up the Magnificent Seven at Easter Road in the first post split fixture.

This will take place on Saturday 21 April with a 12.30pm kick-off – so the rumoured Friday night match didn’t happen.

The following Sunday, 29 April, Rangers will be the visitors to Celtic Park for what will be the final Glasgow derby of the season and that Glasgow Derby will have a 12 noon kick off time.

We are back in the capital a week later – Sunday 6 May to play Hearts and the kick-off for this match will be 12.15pm.

Next up is a midweek home game against Kilmarnock on Wednesday 9 May – the game kicks off at 7.45pm and then it is trophy day against Aberdeen on Sunday 13 May, kick off is 12.30pm.

Earlier today The Celtic Star ran a poll on whether the SPFL should now scrap the split – you can vote below and check out the results with over a thousands votes cast since this morning. It seems pretty clear cut what the Celtic supporters thinks about this matter…
