Forgotten Celtic loanee could still have a future at Celtic Park after receiving rave reviews

The whole idea of going out on loan is to impress and show everyone what you can do, but it’s also very easy to get forgotten about.

Andrew Gutman always looked like an experimental signing and nobody knew what to expect, while many fans may have forgotten that he was still on the books.

He’s on loan in America with FC Cincinnati until the end of this year, and it would be interesting to see if he could force his way into the team.

A recent report from HITC looked at some of the fan reactions after his first start, and there are some promising signs in here.

He was praised for both his effort and skill which is always a good thing, and if the fans are starting to take notice of him then he must be doing something right.

He will turn 24 later this year so a breakthrough will need to come soon, so it will be interesting to see if he gets any chances.

It’s possible that he could return in January and get a chance in the cup if Celtic get an easy draw, but you have to think he will need to impress in his limited opportunities.

The most likely scenario will see him leave without making it into Neil Lennon’s plans, but it’s definitely worth following his progress for the rest of this season.
