Celtic Women are top of the league as things stand, with the Ghirls leading Hibernian 2-0 at the break. Both Glasgow City and theRangers play later today, which could alter the title race but Fran Alonso’s team are doing their job so far.
If things stay this way then it’ll be a great week for the women’s team, who enjoyed an incredible midweek experience by beating league leaders Glasgow City 3-1 in front of a record crowd for a women’s match in Scotland – just shy of 10,000 at Celtic Park.
The Celtic End project was on show that night as the Green Brigade, Bhoys and North Curve merged with other supporters to stand in the Jock Stein lower and provide incredible visual and vocal support to the team.

It was even something that women’s star Jacynta got involved in as she grabbed the megaphone at full time.
The goals today came through Kit Loferski and Claire O’Riordan as the Hoops are looking good to pile pressure on the chasing pack.
