It’s all gone to Pot! – Europa League draw update

NOT long now to the draw for the Europa League. Celtic are in Pot 2 – the only side we cannot draw is Sunday’s opponent Rangers, who are making their first ever appearance in the Europa League Group stages – the Ibrox club that has been ‘re-launched’ according to their manager Steven Gerrard, are in Pot 4, you will notice that the Hungarian side Vidi is just above them – that’s who we would have played had we taken care of AEK Athens, like we should have.

Would be good to draw them. We could also get Malmo from Pot 3 – Vidi of course defeated Malmo when AEK were taking care of us! And we could end up drawing Zenit from Pot 1 – they of course knocked us out of this competition back in February when we played Dorus de Vries in goals in St Petersburg – and you know the rest!
