Highlights as Celtic continue excellent form with 4-0 win at Fir Park

Celtic were on fine form as they comfortably dispatched Motherwell at Fir Park yesterday. Ange Postecoglou’s side were dominant against a ‘Well side that have enjoyed an impressive record at home. Following the win over Rangers during the week, Celtic followed it up with another big win.

Liel Abada opened the scoring for Celtic on a blistering afternoon in Motherwell. Greg Taylor played a brilliant pass to find Reo Hatate down the left side, who then swung a ball into the box for the Israeli winger to sweep the opener of the afternoon into the net.

Tom Rogic made it 2-0 after he unleashed a stunning effort into the top corner. Liam Kelly tried but he couldn’t stop Rogic’s shot from nestling into the top corner.

It was 3-0 soon afterwards and Rogic was at the brace. Tony Ralston played an excellent pass down the line for Liel Abada. The winger, who opened the scoring, cut back into the eighteen-yard box for Rogic, who smashed the ball into the roof of the net.

Maeda was released by an excellent pass from Matt O’Riley, the Japanese striker cut back inside and Mugabe mounted a challenge as the attacker went to strike the ball. The ball looped into the South Lanarkshire sky before bouncing underneath the bar and making it 4-0.
