News has filtered through this afternoon of a now-confirmed capacity reduction in Scotland that will rage on for the next three weeks, should the government not overturn their decision.
Just 500 seats will be administered for Celtic over the January and festive period, with the temporary guidelines lasting until January 16.
Most annoyingly for Celtic fans, the club will have less than 1% of their capacity in the biggest game of the season yet at home to theRangers on January 2, despite their rivals being able to host 50,000 in the game at Ibrox in August.
And fans are undeniably cross with Nicola Sturgeon and co for the decision, with some feeling ‘betrayed’ and ‘lied to’ over the announcement.
Also, I know folk are angry right now, and understandably. But if you look at the wider picture, fans have been restricted already in Germany, Austria, Wales…not a solely Scottish phenomenon. Hugely frustrating as it is.

No crowds of over 500 at Scottish football matches allowed for 3 weeks.
What's the exit strategy at this point? I mean generally. A booster every 6 months but with the same ad-hoc restrictions (based on what evidence?) for a further 3 years? Coz that's how it feels it's going… https://t.co/4Mb4Dk6w5M

Worked my absolute arse off to grow a YouTube channel this year.
To then be told that bang your biggest game of the year will have 500 fans at it.
What an absolute joke. Feel betrayed and lied to by sturgeon and co.
Can’t understand the logic

Incredibly frustrating to find ourselves back in the same situation two years down the line
We get told transition outdoors isn't as big, yet football continues to be hit hard. It isn't just a sport, it's something that affects peoples lives in every way

It really is sod’s law that it would only happen to Celtic, having really found their stride under Ange Postecoglou win wins in their last nine games. It really does beggar belief.
Sturgeon is a fuckin weapon – like any government, after being in power for too long, it eventually loses the plot entirely…..
