‘I want The Sash over the tannoy at Ibrox,’ Bear rage at Rod singing Grace

“I want The Sash over the tannoy at Ibrox,” is the thread title on one of their forums this afternoon.

“Well, why not? * For those at the game yesterday will know this.

“Since Celtic can get away with playing “Grace” over the tannoy at half time what is to stop us playing our own music?

What is actually stopping us?”

The Sash is “not sectarian” claims another one. You learn something every day.

Not everyone was in agreement. Apparently the poster has made one or two crazy suggestions before.

“This is up there with your idea to sell £1 cans for £2,” he was reminded!

“No one like us. we don’t care,” another Zoomer observed.

“You should write to the club. This is definitely something they would consider doing,” the next Bear advised.

“An eye for an eye makes everyone blind…I get what you’re saying but we would be slaughtered, left, right and centre if we went tit for tat with them on this front,” said the next blue-nose to comment.

“If it’s good enough for the Guards Regiment parading down the Mall to Buckingham Palace it should be good enough for us!” the next one noted. Here’s the video, remarkable!

Of course all of this is Rod Stewart’s fault. There he was coming up from the steps from the Board room to sing his version of Grace at half-time. It was always going to send a few of them over the edge.

Well done to the Celtic DJ for playing Grace but what happened to Beautiful Sunday?

Rod was in fine voice after the game too…

Nice shoes Rod…
