The celebrations at Celtic Park today during and after the 4-0 victory over theRangers were spectacular. After a sensational performance by the Hoops, where they easily defeated theRangers. Although it was a great day for Celtic, the same cannot be said for Kyogo Furuhashi. The Celtic striker suffered a shoulder injury in the first few minutes and had to be taken off.
As theRangers left, the Celtic players stayed on the field to celebrate as they usually do. Kyogo, with an injured shoulder and arm in a sling, took to the field to join in the celebrations with the rest of the Celtic squad and the packed stadium. With the wet grass, Kyogo slipped and fell on his injured shoulder. Celtic’s keeper Joe Hart was first on the scene to ensure the Japanese striker was alright. Fortunately, Kyogo was all smiles and seemed fine as his teammate helped him back to his feet.
Fingers crossed Kyogo will be match-fit for Tuesday’s big game against Real Madrid, but it’s looking unlikely as Kyogo’s arm was in a sling.
